High Five Tour Lisbon

After getting to know the birthplace of the city and feeling that you still want to complete your tour, why not visit two more hills? You can add the ruins of Carmo with its imposing elevator in metal structure in neo-Gothic style inaugurated in 1902, and the viewpoint of São Pedro de Alcântara, where you gain a different point of view of the city.

Between the hills of old Lisbon and those of bohemian Lisbon we pass by the Baixa Pombalina, built in 1755, the new commercial area of the city. The most glamorous of the avenues is Liberdade, with a central corridor lined with plane trees and the best haute couture shops and luxury hotels. At the top of this avenue is the statue of the Marquis of Pombal, the visionary who rebuilt Lisbon after the earthquake of 1755 with his gaze over the Tagus River.

Tour Fátima

Our tour begins with the arrival at the Sanctuary of Fatima where we immediately feel its energy. It is a space of pilgrimage and Catholic worship. It was erected in memory of the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima to the three shepherd children in 1917. Its construction began with the Chapel of the Apparitions, but currently has two more basilicas, due to the need to increase the reception area for pilgrims. The visit to the Sanctuary is only complete with a visit to the house of the little shepherds for a better historical background
